EasyFlash 3

I've only used the cartridge "emulation" functionality so far, but that works very well. Looking forward to trying the other functions later.

Bought this to allow fast start of a few critical apps but turns out to be even more flexible than I imagined. Ability to store multiple roms as well as games and util cartridges is awesome. Took about an hour to get the hand of the process then was away.

This thing is the 'bees knees'!! It has SO many features but the ability to load CRT's is GREAT! I can boot C64 GEOS in 15 seconds!! Also the ability to use the Super Snapshot and adding JiffyDos without haveing to open your box and pull chips. I got some of the Easy Flash crt files with 40+ games and Apps and it is awesome!!

Need I say more? After watching a YouTube video about it and then one of the making taking about it at a retro computer show I ordered it and I LOVE IT!!!!

This thing's great, but the greatest part is that Retro Innovations is also genuinely great. I had problems with my cartridge that ultimately ended up being problems with my C64 power supply. Seriously, all other cartridges worked fine, everything worked fine except the EasyFlash 3. At no point did they try to pass the buck during my experience. They were 100% supportive and helpful. During troubleshooting I replaced my power supply and the problem disappeared. The old power supply reintroduced the problem. Anyway, I highly recommend this product and this company.

Easyflash 3 is probably the last game device i will buy for my c64. Having games on a cartridge is the way to go. Favorite game is wizball. Games takes a many min to load on disk. 5x faster with epyx fast load and aound 10sec or less with easyflash 3. Lots of people make the custom crt files and they are available online. 1 cart can easily hold 100's of games. loading them up with usb takes approx 5 min for 1 meg slots.

This cart is an absolute must for the C64, set up all your diagnostic and utility carts and also boot into different Kernal images, very easy to use with built in Easyprog and a connected SD2IEC makes this cart invaluable. even down to quick access for games to keep the kids busy with zero load times. Gets 10 out of 5 stars from me!!

I do have SD2IEC but nothing beats a pure cartridge-based setup when it comes to speed, convenience, and being "closer" to the original. I don't play many games at the same time so the limit of 8 is actually plenty for me. I occasionally browse/explore/try out games from SD2IEC and then I burn the ones I think I will play in the next session (weeks or months) and then load them from the EasyFlash with a single press of a key. Since EasyFlash also has the fast loader functionality, I don't need to unplug it to plug in my Turbo cartridge anymore which is also good for the C64 cartridge connector in the long run. I really like this product, it's simple, it does one thing and it does it well.

I'm so glad to have bought this cartridge. :D This device is exactly what I expected. Now I'm back to eighties, patching c64 games like the kid I was. Using this cartridge, even without a SD2IEC is a pure delight.
