Do YOU need to grab 100mA of power from somewhere for your newest Commodore VIC-20, 64, 64C, 128,or C128D project? Do you want to leave all of the ports available for other uses? Before you give up in frustration, consider the C2N Power adapter! One end plugs into the underutilized datasette port, while the other end provide a pass through for your datasette or other cassette-based peripherals.
Included on the board are holes and connections for an Atmel AVR Tiny 24/44/88 microcontroller and a voltage divider network for the MOTOR line of the datasette port (to allow that line to be fed into the AVR). No current application exists for the uC portion of the PCB, but don't let that stop you! Be the first to design a datasette replacement that fits in the AVR. Or, simply use the holes to connect wires to the various lines of the datasette port for other projects. For such a small unit, the possibilities are almost endless
